Eaglets’ first summer camp ran entirely online. Every student received a robot kit to build at home, then learned what each component did and how to program the robot to perform driving maneuvers.
Running a build-along camp remotely, with no instructor able to reach across the table and fix a wire, taught the team more about instruction design than any in-person session would have. It is the reason later kits are built around connections a student can trace themselves.
